'MANIPUR EXPRESS' is the story that tells how a simple youth can challenge the entire injustice, dishonesty and corruption happening in our society with the help of the POWER OF YOUTH AND MEDIA.
This film throws the light on POWER OF YOUTH AND MEDIA.
PREVIEW ‘ MANIPUR EXPRESS’ a manipuri feature film:-
It tells story of a boy, Malem (MAHES) studying in a college, from a middle-class family with his widow mother who is passionate in dances. He loves a girl, Tampha(BALA) studying in the same college from a poor family with her father who is working in the Minister’s office and her step-mom who never treated her as own daughter. Malem and Tampha falls in love.
But the story changes and an episode occurs that changed their lives. They got entangled in a series of incidents and before they realized it, they became the victims of the present injustice happenings in our society.
But youth and media have given Malem, a simple youth of Manipur, the power to fight the deception and fraudulence to eradicate the injustice happening in our society.
What incidents have occur to Malem and Tampha that changed their lives?
Will Malem , a simple boy, be able to fight with the present injustice prevailing in the society?
How will youth and media give strength and power to Malem?
Why is this film called ‘Manipur Express’ and what is 'Manipur Express’ ?

1) Music Director, Sorri Senjam, has given different taste in the music of this film and has done fabulous job in three songs with lyrics of Ajit Ningthouja.
2) There is one item number performed and choreographed by Mahes himself.
3) After being nominated in The International Panorama Award for the non-commercial film ‘Phijeegee Mani’, O.Gautam is back with a commercial entertaining movie ‘Manipur Express’.
4) It is reported that Mahes has seriously injured several times while shooting the film.
5) The film has a lot of scenes that have been arranged in different tastes, like special team and sets have been set up for the action sequences that will attract the audience.
In short, MANIPUR EXPRESS is a package of commercial entertaining movie coming shortly in 2012.
